| Zizi The Monkey designed by Bruno Munari. A flexible toy made of expanded polyurethane foam with a twisted wire core and hand-painted face. Originally designed in 1952, Zizi was awarded a Compasso D'Oro in 1954. Munari reproduced the monkey in 1997 and 2007. Although originally designed to be played with Zizi is not suitable for children under 8 years of age and is best treated as a design object rather than a toy.

Vase-glass 'Goto' cup designed by Gaetano Pesce. A moulded plastic cup in the form of the Lion of San Marco. Designed by Pesce in 1995 for the Caffé Florian, Venice. 16cm high. Decorated with raised text in Italian:
'A toast to Venice, so that she becomes a locus of modern lives, modern behaviour, progress, services, joys, optimism, discoveries, trust in the future, courage, openness to the culture of the contemporary world....and not a place of prejudice, protection, conservatism, immobility, soporific location, museum-cult of the past, reactionary example, hopeless venue for future generations, full of torpor, provincialism, mute and nostalgic enterprises....Let's get rid of this masque, which claims Venice a space to live in.'
